BABYLON SQUEAK
‘You Don’t Get Me’ is the title of the lead track of Babylon Squeak’s Xmas release download E.P. Not that anyone knew about it, of course, because this website went AWOL for a couple of weeks, thereby making the song quite apt in that no-one got it, either for themselves or as an e-gift. But we’re here now, saying it’s there then.
Lovingly mastered by Si Beex, the three-song/four-track E.P. is adorned by a graphic image created by Christian Brett inbetween his other jobs of designing books for Jason Williamson of Sleaford Mods and Penny Rimbaud of Crass. Thanks, chaps.

THIS LITTLE BADGE
This Little Badge are always up for a challenge so when they heard that supremo songstress Sia’s 2017 tour of Australia comprised all of two bookings, and her tour of New Zealand was composed of a mighty one appearance, TLB decided to try and almost match her workload or die of exhaustion in the attempt.
Thus, This Little Badge’s ‘Tour Of All Cosmoses (And Environs)’ will happen on Wednesday 10th January 2018 where they will be laying it down and ripping it up at TSB Festival Of Lights, at the Hatchery Lawn Stage at the delightfully-named Pukekura Park, New Plymouth, one of New Zealand’s premier botanical gardens (it sez ’ere). Also playing are Darkwater.
For more information, get ye hence to Facebook – or, if you don’t do that thing, try the Festival’s own website.
KAREN MORDEN
Karen Morden you will know from her starring in videos for DMPH’s 2016 song ‘IVY’ and ‘Let Me Paint A Picture For You’ by Jazz Cattle. In addition to her stage strutting as part of the London-based sketch troupe Monkey Wedding, she is also a thrilling participant in ‘Release The Clowns’, a series of 15-minute comedy podcasts available here if you click HERE!
DOUG MURPHY
In the November NEWS bulletin mention was made of Doug Murphy’s ABBA ABBA HEY punk poppy project. At a birthday party in mid-December in Norway’s notorious Haugesund, Meeeeeeeeester Muuuuuuuuuurphy jumped into his fatsuit and clambered on to the stage for a rendition of ABBA’s ‘S.O.S.’ and also provided the Phil Danielsisms for a shouting of ‘Parklife’ by The Blur. Rock and – oh, what’s that other thing called? Oh yeah, thassit – ROLL!!!!!!
